figure out your tipping point. then, add like, 5,000 dollars to that number (or about 3,000 dollars and a rad set of tools).... then the car can be yours without hurting your feelings or leaving you stranded. cuz that's about what it's going to cost you above and beyond your most optimistic estimates... otherwise, you should fairly consider yourself a risk candidate for 944 ownership enjoying a very light-duty machine.

PS: In April 2011, we spent $1,700 for an '88 with 225k and using it as a daily driver...
All major mechanicals are less than 3year/10k in use. Fuel lines updated.
We've spent about $850 on updates/maint so far. Good luck!
Absolutely a Flyers fan haha and I'm in Delaware County. And actually one of the members on here said he could change em out for rather cheap, 944SC said he could do em for 50. His shop is in North Philly
