Default Poll: What color to paint my phone dials??

I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my phonies. When you vote, keep in mind that my car is guards red, will have a white racing stripe (paper mock up of the stripe: ), and will be lowered in the front, and turbo rear valance.

Here's the options I'm looking at.

1) Keep them silver (I'd REALLY rather not...):

2) Paint them white (would look good matching the racing stripe, give it a nice 2 tone look, not too much going on):

3) Paint the centers BBS gold with polished lips. I REALLY LIKE the look of the rims on their own, in this scheme, but not sure if that look will clash with the racing stripe. (would it be too many colors going around for a balanced "theme"?)

As of right now, I'm leaning towards white, matching my racing stripe. It would also be the easiest route to follow, with Duplicolor making all the necessary spray paints.

OPINIONS?? please vote

Too late. I got a vinyl stripe from van and there's no going back BUT when I paint my car metallic sienna red again, I'm considering gold or silver stripe. And i could always repaint the phonies at that point cause it's fairly inexpensive to do

Wooho! I'm the first one to answer the poll.

I went for white. I think it will look best but beware of brake dust

Brake dust is already a PITA on my silver wheels. After washing them, one drive and they have a noticeable dusting. I'm good at washing those wheels though, I've gotten to the point where I can wash all four wheels in like 10 minutes

I hate black phone dials. From a distance they look like steelies to me. And in black, the curves of the rim don't show well

Paint the valence and leave everything else alone. If you don't like your wheels, get adapters and look at Boxster wheels or something.

I read the whole thread of the painting of that wheel. I still don't like the black. Looks like every other black wheel on the road once you get 20 feet away.
