That would be great.

I will be tracking the S2 so it would be nice to get an instructor who drives one.

Hope your tires are better than what I used last time I had Stu on the track.

I think I had more traction at the RallyCross...

We all had more traction at the RallyCross... +1 for having a real rallycross this year open to all cars. IMHO

Scott, I'll likely be DEing on street tires again so we'll be sliding together!

Sounds as though this is going to be a fun DE and I really like Skip's style.

edit: Dan, I enjoy that the corner of your car that's acting as a plow in that photo has a sticker for Grassroots Motorsports!

Charlie- hahah yeah that run resulted in a blown lower radiator hose and bent rad. support. I'll be there in my new spec car this year so track only. Cant wait, i would instruct this year but it looks like they will have a ton there already.

If ya'll have not heard, PCA is tightening up the rules and track rides with instructors is now forbidden unless you are a student enrolled in the school. It is a national thing I guess. Rats

Hi Guys,

I haven't been to the last few Fests what with work and moving around the country. Went back to L.A. for a year and a half, Moved to Denver at the beginning of Feb. car is still in L.A. as that's where I need it to drive for work. Finally got it painted though.
Tracking at the Fest was the most fun, wish I could get back there again. I think I need to check out getting back on the track at Willow Springs. Haven't been on that track since I was crazy enough to road race a Kawasaki 500 triple in the 70's. Those were the days....Orange County Raceway, Riverside, the original Ontario Raceway, Laguna Seca.......

Thought I would update this, because I am hoping guys will bring extra stuff they may want to sell/trade for. Looking for new stuff too if any sponsors are bringing stuff.

I am still on the hunt for a rear diffuser, any colour, as I will paint it to match the car (no its not for my cab) Looking to stock up on spare parts, possibly too. plugs/wires/cap, dme relay, vacuum hose kit, window door switch, hazard switch, console faceplate (around the stereo). Any other fiddly bits, bushings, wear/tear items.

I can bring upon request (not a lot of room in the trunk of my cab) turbo head in good condition, turbo cam, painted cam cover, p&p'd turbo intake manifold with matched n/a tb. (see my port/polish threads).

While on this topic of parts, I am looking forward to doing some wrenching (not wenching) Anyone want help to work on a project that weekend? I may want to install some of my new parts if I get anything in order to save on storage space going home, so I'm bringing some extra tools/gear.

Thoughts?

I am hoping to make this one. I plan to do the driving over two days. Day one (about 7 hours driving) is to Bolling Green, KY; hit the Cirvette museum and the production plant across the street. Anyone live around those parts that will be heading up to the fest on the 14th?

Anyone planning to be there this year with a supercharged 944? Am leaning towards a M62 set up, if I could ever get a good MAF for not alot of $$$.

Michael
