Default Oil Pump Leak? Upper Balance Shaft?

Meant to post this here and not on the turbo board..

Got a pretty bad leak, it's more like a constant oozing of oil that comes into view on the pump and dribbles down around the crank gear and onto the ground. I can't get a good view of the source while it's running because of all the whirring bits in my face but I took off the tensioner to get a better view. As you can see it puddles a bit on top of the pump there..

The path leading from the balance shaft seems pretty clean but it's hard to tell when everything has a thin layer of oil on it.

It's always a shame when nobody ever responds.

if youve already got the rear belt cover off, replacing all the front oil seals is only an hour or two job...

It was the mating surface between the pump and block
