Default Deutsch Nine 968 turbo rs spoiler on a 944

Ok so I did a search and could not find any threads of anyone installing this spoiler on their 944 (at least from the threads I looked in). However, in the official wheel thread there is a guy who has it on his 944 race car.

Does anyone know of any other manufacturer besides D9 that sells this style spoiler?
Does anyone know anything about what's involved when installing this spoiler?
Any other owners with this spoiler?
More pictures perhaps?

Good subject for a thread. I'm going to pick up a one piece spoiler for mine and make it adjustable by doing the conversion myself. Have a few pics from a fellow rennlister / pelican poster (can't remember which). It's fairly straighforward and considerably less expensive. I've attached a few pics of the one that he did.

That looks awesome. Did they use the 968 spoiler kit from the UK?

What your looking at is a repro of the 968 turbo S/RS spoiler, personally I would rather have the 968/late S2 spoiler on a 944/951.The 968/S2 spoiler combine with the bottom winger rear embellisher (beleive it or not but that is what they call it ) & a ROW style bumper look pretty darn good on an 944NA/951.

There is a reason that the 968rs rear wing sits higher, it allows more air to interact and flow under the wing providing downforce. Just modifying the s2 wing will not provide as much downforce, there will not be a lot of clean airflow running to it and under it at high speeds.

Here's a very bad quality pic of my rear spoiler: it's the same as the one that is sold by Deutsche Nine! But i think i got mine for a way better price..

I'll look if i have some more pictures!

Here is one more; i mounted it here without the "sideskirts"

And here is another one where it's mounted:

I believe he did. That's the one I'm probably going to buy to start from.

I've also givien this a lot of thought (the choice between late S2 "hoop wing" or RS style).

The best quality for the former I think is:

Can anyone add more info?

Exactly. I like the higher profile and overall look of the D9 spoiler but not the price! I can't believe no one has made a copy besides D9

This is a more reasonable option so good luck with this project and be sure to post details so others can follow in your footsteps.

Van Zweeden in the Netherlands have it.

I suppose D9 version is better quality item. I am also fabricating molds, most likely going to finished them during spring.

I have another dealer in the Netherlands but they dont sell online, if you want one, i can ask what the price is and check out what the shippingcost is. Send me a PM if you're interested! Got mine for about €400 so thats ehh, 340 less than D9.. (excluding shipping cost)
