I believe acrylic is 16 time stronger than glass.
The way I form it, with the fold / edge all around, give it a lot of strength. I weight 140 lbs and I stand on one with both feet on.

Overall I think this is a fantastic kit!
Shipping was incredibly fast (like 3 days from Canada to 'Sconsin)
Packaging was great. Everything was securely packaged and bubble wrapped to eliminate any possibility of damage during shipping.
The quality of the parts are great. I'll admit that this would be the first 'real' full carbon fiber piece that I've had first hand experience with so it feels super light but I wasn't concerned about ruining anything. Parts are super light weight and the finish quality is very nice.
The lens covers are fantastic. Perfectly molded and clearly a very high quality finish/edges/etc.
The instructions were included in pdf format and are easy to follow.
Installation process is pretty painless. You don't need any special tools or skills for proper installation. It'll take a brief afternoon to get everything adjusted perfectly flush but it is definitely worth it.

Cool! I'm ecstatic that someone with the skills and professionalism has stepped up and is making these kits again.
I can't wait for the 951/S2 versions

Well this isn't 924-76's kit but I did get mine installed over the wknd. While I still need to do sone adjusting and fitment work, here's what they look like so far. BTW, these were the parts I picked up from a local guy that swears that came directly off a 924 GTS.
FWIW, these are 5 x 7 Hella E-code lights.
I'm thinkin' that if there was a way to integrate the covers such that the header panel and covers all looked like 1 piece.... that would be the best look and really pull together the several body piece that make up the front end of these cars. But that's beyond my skill level with FG or CF. (I suppose I could try to learn....)
Just my $0.02

BTW, I'm not suggesting an alternative kit to the one 924-76 is producing. From the pics of his process here, his kit(s) appear to have a MUCH higher quality than the pieces I picked up and you see here. But I only paid $50 for everything (buckets, covers, headlights, mounting hardware, etc.) so I'm OK with that.
I'm also thing the black surround on the covers might look better and more integrated in Guards Red.
