Default Track Car Build Blog

First, let it be known that I have been a "lurker" on Rennlist for the last year or so since I bought my 944 and have enjoyed the Forum.

For those of you that may be interested, I have started a new series of Blogs to my website regarding my 944, which is a dedicated track car. There will be some general interest stuff and I will try to get into some specifics of the conversion to it being a full on track car. The blog can be found at my website

newhillgarage.com

The link for Porsche Track Car is pretty evident from there. If I understand Wordpress, you can have it notify you every time a new blog entry is made for this subject and/or the entire blog.

Understand that the work is done and I am running the car at HPDE's as much as time and money permits but the blog entries go back to the beginning and will work forward from there.

I hope the Rennlist members can gain some benefit from reading about my experience.

Probably a spun bearing sizied up crank, but it could be similar to my failure earlier this month when the #2 rod just broke. In my case I found the bearing and did not show signs of spinning at all. Rod failures do happen from time to time, but are rather rare.
