Default Headlight buzzer and door lock questions

Q1: Isn't there supposed to be a headlight buzzer in these cars? Mine makes no sound when I leave the headlights on, and I'm afraid I'm going to kill the battery one of these days. Where should I look?

Q2: What is the trick to locking the power door locks? My push-button by the gearshift makes the locks click, but they don't go down. When I try to lock both doors from the drivers door with the key, I have to go back-and-forth several times, then hold the key turned toward the rear to make the passenger side lock stay down. I'm sure there is a trick, but I have no idea what it is...

We have pop up head lights! It should be hard to forget they're on!!?? Ha ha!

-Does it make noise when your keys are in the ignition and you open the door? The buzzer is in the Fuse Box; its a little black box looks like a Relay.

No noises at all... key, lights, nothing. Sure, I can see when the headlights are up, but sometimes I drive with just the fog lights as "DRL's" when it's a bit gray outside, and I've forgotton to turn those off when I get work work .

I'll look for a buzzer in the fuse box... thanks!

The fuse is probably blown.

I bought this car from a guy who only used it on the track, so i've always suspected that he may have removed the buzzer or somehow dissabled it. I'll look for the buzzer & fuse this weekend and see what I come up with.

Any help with my door lock issues? What are the "proper" steps to lock both doors using a key in the drivers-side door handle? Is one 1/4-turn motion to the rear supposed to lock both doors and stay locked?? Mine locks them both, but as soon as I release the key back to center, the driver's door lock stays down and the passenger door lock pops back up. If I do it 2-3 (or 10) more times, they both eventually stay locked. I suspect I'm not doing something correctly, or the actuator switch in my driver's door is maybe acting up?
