906 Reasons you Should Drive your Porsche in the Rain (****)
I had a really cool experience two weeks ago at NJMS in Millville, NJ...it was the Vintage weekend and my son and I went down on Sunday which was an overcast day with rain in the forecast for late in the afternoon.
Needless to say only the "real" die hard racer were still there and all of the "show racers" had left late Saturday....since we already had planned to go a few of us went despite the weather.
Below are some photos of the last 1964 906 produced in Stuttgart and is still raced on a regular basis by a privateer.
We spent over 1/2 hour talking with the mechanic and owner (who were really cool Porsche Guys) and the even let my friend sit in it.
The estimated retail on this car is $500,000.00 -$750,000.00 and probably the only other one you (or I ) will see is in a museum.
Enjoy.....and below goes to show you why you should drive your Porsche in the Rain !!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing. I hope to see a few 906s in the flesh during the next three days at Rennsport Reunion.

It's amazing to see just how much clearance the body and tyres have. I keep looking for a trolley jack under there somewhere.
Thanks for the pics.
