Default BEWARE of HV feul pump fitment

i just tryed in install my new HV fuel pump form LR and the old tank to pump hose does not fit the new barb. so i called LR and asked them why and they told me that in 4 year i am only the second person ( this is my luck) to have this problem and that a new stock hose will fit with alittle force......... long story short if you buy a new HV fuel pump buy the hose too and save your self the wait for a new one.

I have the HV Fuel pump as well... I was able to use the old hose but it took a lot of force to get it on. I placed it with a new one from LR a month or two later, it was easier but it was still tight.

I installed one on my car and didn't have any problems. Used a bit of dish soap on the exterior of the fitting to allow it to slide on easier.

Had the same issue, used a little ATF on the barb and the inside of the hose. Slid on with a bit of force.

I was the first person. I struggled and struggled with that damn hose. Had the car on jack stands for 3 days. Tried oil, tried soap, just wouldn't work. The barb on the HV pump is markedly larger than the stock one.

Eventually I had a friend come over to help hold the pump while I twisted the hose into place. While I was showing him what I wanted him to do, the hose just slid right on! That was a major WTF! moment for me, as I wasn't doing anything differently than I'd done the previous 3 days. It was colder that morning, that's the only thing I can think of.

Point is, the stock hose will fit, but you may have to fight it a bit...
