Default Lock Screw- Ignition Rotor. Who Has Them?

As luck always has it, I lost the little brass lock screw on the ignition rotor. No problem, I'll bite the bucket and order a new rotor. It arrives today and lo-and-behold, no lock screw comes with the new rotor. Quick call to Pelican, no joy. I guess I can just go from hardware store to hardware store, but does anyone know a bona fide source for this brass machine screw?

TIA.

That's odd because the last generic rotors (O' Reilly-Beck Arnley) I bought came with a new screw?

It's a Facet brand rotor (made in Italy) no set screw...

Perhaps I'll start my search at the local auto parts place.

That other screw is sitting somewhere in my garage, laughing at me. Effer.

Believe or not, I got a replacement at Lowe's. They have a good seletion of metric allen head bolts and had one of the correct length for the rotor. I think it was a package of two for under $2.

I have a whole bag of them we include them with all of our rotors. It shouldn't be to hard to find one locally. If you get stuck give me a call and i will send one to you for nothing.

I could never get mine off because the inside was stripped so bad. So I just left the old rotor on.. Haha.

When you put it in use some loctite - the weaker type that doesn't need heat to remove. Had a few come loose and ruin a track day in the NorCal group here

As previously mentioned I found a suitable replacement at Lowes
For future reference it is a M4-.70x10 screw. I bought the socket head cap screw version.

Yes, blue loctite will be used.

You can get them from Lindsey Racing for $1.00 But here's the gotcha, they charge over $14.00 to ship a bolt that is virtually weightless.

M4-.70x10

https://www.belmetric.com/4mm-low-al...d-p-14491.html

or

https://www.belmetric.com/4mm-slotte...c-p-12264.html

This should do the trick, at .19/.09 each respectively. Belmetric is more bulk order oriented, so I wouldn't order just 1 or 2 of these. Order north of a $hundy and shipping is free.

Group buy???

I went to Home Depot today and picked up a pair for less than $1.00 to include tax.
