Burning Brakes
I'll toss this out to y'all, the Hurricane Region meets for coffee/breakfast at 8 am every Saturday at Jason's Deli at Brier Creek in Raleigh. There are a number of 944 and 928 owners and lovers in the group. So, come on out and join us sometime. (Okay, not this Saturday because several of us will be at a DE up at VIR for the weekend.)

I live down in Fayetteville. I would love to do some G2Gs but since my 944 is a full blown race car, its hard to drive it anywhere but on the track. I just took over class director for the 944 Spec series in NASA's SE region so if anyone has any interest in doing track events and getting into racing, Id be more than willing to talk anytime.

We have a Blue Ridge Parkway Cruise planned for October 19th. Here's the event page on Facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/events/1515870368658809/
For those without FB, we're meeting at the Biltmore Sq. Belk at Noon.
800 Brevard Rd Asheville, NC 28806
We will be taking the Blue Ridge Parkway South for about 50 miles, stopping to take pictures and to chat along the way. Also, we will be stopping for a picnic lunch, so bring a cooler packed with your favorite snacks. Be sure to bring a jacket or dress for cold weather; as we will be reaching elevations of 6000ft.
Anyone coming from the East can meet us for breakfast at Denny's in Shelby, NC (2025 E Dixon Blvd) around 9AM. From there we will depart for Asheville at 10am.
I hope to see you all out there!
