Default 1986 951 **** (Photos)

Just though I'd share some recent photos of my car....since getting all of the mechanics sorted after being a 49K 25 year old garage queen and putting about 12K on it in the past 18 months.....I spent a little time finishing up detailing the interior and mounting the GPS (I hate suction cup mounts) I also added a little color and chrome to the interior.....I am still contemplating color matching the interior dash trim (not the instrument bezel) to the body color.

Enjoy.........

Carlege

Save yourself some time........they are only $29.95 shipped on eBay......and are steel (no cheap plastic).

Link to Mount on eBay : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arkon-TTEP12...item5d2fa2c56c

Here is a photo of it unistalled and it comes with two mounts...one goes under the seat bolt/slider and the second one you can mount using the screw which holds the center console in place....i spent more time figuring out where I wanted it compared to the installation time.

Going to have to get me one of those mounts. I have a MP3 player/internet tablet/GPS ect with a 500gb hard drive to use when I get my new stereo installed. Going to look into that for the car and the truck.

The cup holders I have in may car, the PO put them in, are the cheap hanger ones. I know autozone sells them. He took off the window switch piece, hung them on the door and put the window switch trim back on. Worked well except for the largest of drinks. I try not to drink anything in the car but when it's a DD you don't always have time to stop.

Great attention to detail. Looking to add a 951 to the stable in a week or so.
