Thanks guys...I was prepped with a flame suit especially the orange piping on the dash....but it appears I may be on to something.

To be honest, I can't take that much credit as the interior was essentially perfect when I got it....all I did was freshen it up after looking @ a 997 Interior and said what would they do if my car was a 2010 and not an 1986?

But here is where I sourced the molding, yellow fogs and I posted a link earlier in this thread to the GPS Mount Source, they also sells this same mount for any and all GPS, Ipods, DVD's etc.....I think they also have a cupholder as well.

As for the Orange trim it is 3MM Molding and adheres using 3M tape and is available in 5 colors, the nice thing about is if you change your mind it comes off and leaves no trace it was there, also if you take your time and apply it correctly, it looks and appears to be factory. I sourced colored molding on eBay from JDMBESTBOY which is the only place I could find the orange (and other colors) he also has the best shipped price for the other color molding and the 4MM Chrome molding was source from Automotiveauthorityllc also the best price shipped for this.

If you are ordering this you will need 4 of the 120" packages (I bought two chrome and two orange) for my interior.

Here are links to the respective stores:
3MM Colored Molding - http://stores.ebay.com/jdmbestboy
4MM Chrome Molding - http://stores.ebay.com/automotiveauthorityllc

As for the Yellow fogs, I simply removed them, cleaned them with alcohol and using a hairdryer wrapped them with vinyl for a total cost of $8.00

Order the 24" by 24" and you will have plenty to spare

Here is the link to that store: http://stores.ebay.com/rvinylinc

And the cupholder........that was a $5.00 Walmart special I found in the automotive section.

Thanks Again for the compliments

Just realized, this is my plan for my early car. Not sure you'd wanna try this on a late one

Exactly my plan, only I couldn't locate cup holders like that! What I ended up getting was a new armrest door and a set of plastic cup holders (sort of like these) with the intent of finding some plastic storage bin that could be attached to the door and cut out to take the cup holders.

I think I'll order the narrow one you pointed out and see how that works. Right now, I'm rocking the Cup Pilot.

And, we've hijacked the thread. Sorry, Scott! That is a sweet ride. I spend a lot of time at my in-laws in Hightstown (I live in the Poconos), you should visit 'Cars & Coffee' some morning. Last month I was the only Cayenne there amongst the 911s and there were no 944-series cars.

Shawn,

No sweat.....and since the Carrera GT didn't show up the day you drive down....consider us even.

What cars and coffee are you talking about ? The one I started in Cherry Hill, NJ (just outside Philadelphia) is up to 50+ cars and is growing every week.

Since we have digressed to the subject of cupholders....I bought a bike water bottle cage (in aluminum finish) and have been playing around with the idea of making something like in this link.

No, it was this one. But, Cherry Hill isn't any further than Shrewsbury from my in-laws, I'll try to make it out next time I'm in town.

Fair warning: odds are I'll be driving the Cayenne!

I'm simply pointing out that the cupholder... in this picture... is from Walmart. Like it or not, it works, it's cheap, and it's pretty common in 944/924's because we don't have many options to mount a "real" cupholder.
