electrionc fuel pump fuse panel question
ok I am back with a dumb question again. after doing this on my 944 I thought I could have figured it out on this 924 but I was wrong
what i am working on is a 1982 Porsche 924 (already replaced fuel pump, and internal fuel pump, dizzy)
on the AUX fuse panel #2 fuse for fuel pump (and #1 fuse) have no power with key on , so I naturally thought it was the universal fuse under the steering wheel but it doesn't have power to any terminal and new fuse did not help. Next I tried pulling out the #2 relay which should be the fuel pump relay I used a jumper wire and tested again........now I can hear the #1 fan relay on the main panel is the one clicking and a light tester on the AUX panel #2 fuse show pulsing/flashing power (with the jumper wire or fuel pump relay) Now I am confused the fan relay should not effect the fuel pump relay or should it and why ? is there something else I overlooked and need to do?
