Question Ball Joint Rebuild Kit

It's time to replace my ball joints on my daily driver and I'm planning to use the rebuild kit with the aluminum bronze upper bushings.

While I'm working on the control arms I'd also like to replace the caster block with the updated mount.

And may be replace the control arm bushings with the Weltmeister Poly-Graphite bushings.

Is there anything else that I may be missing that I should address while I have the control arms tore apart?

I can't believe no one has replaced their ball joints and can give advice.

What kind of forum is this if you only flame each other?

That's lame...

Calm down,that wont help . Most people are on vacation this time of year, not much activity on the forum right now.

You got everything just about covered, i used the same kits and they are all great,i got the ball joint kit from rennbay and the welt bushings from paragon but you could get everything from paragon to save on shipping.
While you have the front suspension apart you might want to check your engine mounts as well ,if you need to change them this is the time to do it , it's just a 20 min job since you already have everything apart.

Yea, and if you're going to do Motor Mounts;
-you might as well do the Oil Pan Gasket, and Rod Bearings.
-Once you have the Rod Bearing Caps off, you might as well pull the head (rebuild it), remove the pistons and install new rings too!

Ha ha, Seriously though; sounds like you covered the bases...

-Maybe some new front shocks? (When i did my Ball Joints i installed Koni Shocks)

If you have never rebuilt 944 Ball Joints, the hardest part is removing the original C-Clip; I wedged a small flat head screw driver under the clip, and twisted it. This forced the end of the C-Clip up, at which point you just keep prying... Then BOING!! Everything flys out, and lands everywhere... so be prepared.
