How do I adjust the camber on the front wheels?
I have an 1987 951. I just noticed that my front driver's side wheel has a lot of negative camber compared to my passenger side. Is there any way I can adjust this my self for the time being? My car isn't registered and it won't be registered for the near future so I can't just drive it to the alignment shop (especially a porsche specialized alignment shop).

how much are we talking about? if it's more than like 2-3 degrees, then it's more likely your control arm is bent.
u can adjust it. but unless u have alot of time to do a string alignment, you won't be able to dial in your toe. since you're not going to be driving the car for a long time...why the rush to adjust camber?
....u don't need some speciality alignment shop do it. a front end alignment is the same as any other car. the rear end alignment does require a special tool....but u can ask around if someone local will loan it to u.

The strut attaches to the spindle with two bolts. One is eccentric adjuster and the other is normal. Loosen both a bit and then crank the adjuster to create more or less camber. These things can loosen up on the street. On my track car I paint mark the bolts to know if they have shifted at all.
