Default 944 Refrigerant temp switch location

I have a 85.5 944 and the PO spliced the two wires together that go to the refrigerant temp switch causing the fans to run on high when the key was turned on. I am trying to locate where the switch is supposed to be located, but have not been able to find any location where it would have been. i would assume it is supposed to be close to the drier near the pressure switch as that is where the wires were spliced together. Any help finding this would be great.

It looks like the car might be new to you.

This link is very helpful when you are replacing parts and need their number.

Do you have a link for the later 944. what I am finding in the diagram looks like the 83-early 85. The Hose that goes from the condenser to the dryer on my car has the high pressure servicing point on it.

I knew you had the late car and I thought that was the PET I picked.

Try this one.

That looks more like I have except that is not what my hose going between the dryer and condensor looks like. That may be the problem. I guess I wil be looking for a new hose as I be looking for a new compressor and can change it out at the same time. Thanks for the help.

Any one have an extra hose laying around.
