A real 924 Carrera GTS Club Sport will be nice to see. I considered one in the US a while back; it was selling in the mid-50s US $.

Derek Bell still owns one (at least a year ago). There's one displayed in the Porsche Museum (also as of a year ago).

I made it to III in Daytona.. I have some cool pictures of my car (on right) and fellow rennlister cheetahchrome (on left) sitting on the infield with the 944's racing in the backround...

Wish I could come support your team! Good luck!

Well, you won't see me or my car in Monterey, but it's great that you're taking your car to represent all Turbo Cup cars!

I thought I'd share in this forum a couple of photos (two by Dennis Gray via Sports Car Digest) from Rennsport Reunion.

Great memorable time for me.

I have a few of you Mike... including one from your not so glorious exit from the track during the Sunday race. Sorry about your tire

Mike, that's a beautiful car. you are very fortunate to own one of the finest examples of a 944 available.

I do have in-car videos with 935s, 934s and RSRs in Group 4. But I have to figure out how to turn the image right side up.

I was not happy with my flat tire, but I still had a great memorable time. I was finally driving the car like a 944 instead of a 911 on Sunday; I shaved 2.5 seconds off during warm up and another 2.5 seconds during the race. I was still learning the track - there was still a second or two in Turns 4, 5 and 6 plus another second or so in Turn 9 and 10. It was fun catching up with a RSR and a 935 through the turns.

I didn't have a chance with guys like Johannes Van Overbeek in the red 935 K3, Hurley Haywood and Bruce Canepa's 935. Kees Nierop (1986 Rothmans Challenge Champion) was also in my group, but he was driving a 934. In spite of the 25 second lap time differential, I was more comfortable with these cars at the track with me than with the Spec Miata guys.
