Update on mine. About 4k at the moment. Just upgraded the exhaust, just need to get the right tip to mellow it out a little. Anyone know of a resonator 2.5 tip about 12" long???

Doing research on a M62 eaton supercharger upgrade. Will soon buy another parts car, want the manual rack off of it, then sell everything else off of it to bring my total investment back down.

Current paint color will be carbon mist metallic, of course will change my mind again by morning.

I have put about 30k on mine in last 14 months. Knock on wood, still hasn't left me completely broke down yet. Just a couple of close calls.

enough to more seriously consider the V8 option as "cheap" because the stock 944 motor has no ***** down low...

I bought my '83 for 2,500 about two years ago, and have about 7,500 in it now, with new clutch, new seals, strut brace, and reupholstered front seats, among other things to keep it running. Just about how I need it to be...knock on wood. Respray probably in the cards in the next year or so, but I've got all the equipment minus paint.

Added it up a few months to see if I wanted to sell it. Nope. Gonna drive her a while. Just did my second timing belt service. This time I bought the right tools. Guess I wonder how far I can take her. Could have bought many other cars but each time I wrench on this car or drive it I learn a little more about the car and myself. Parts payments beat new car payments.

i can't believe all the trouble Porsche went into building this NASA pop-up headlamp crap. especially, when they had the 993 headlamps ready to go around the same time 968 prodution started....
