when TB sensor is at WOT bogs out no power why??

when TB sensor is at WOT bogs out no power why??
car has a 83 engine
stock besides aeromotive fuel pressure reg. set to (2.5)
all vac lines new.
I removed the tb sensor and tested with meter to see if idle and wot is making contact.
wiring harness plug to tb switch is getting its 5v
when I hammer it car dies in power and wont free rev.
wideband controller is seeing 16 range.
when I rev car at idle and look at fuel pressure gauge its working great.
anyideas?
