Default Anyone retrofit a wiper motor?

So, I've tried cleaning and inspecting my wiper motor on my early 944, and I just can't get it to increase the speed of the wipers. The general consensus around here is that, that's just the way they are. Living in South Alabama, we get heavy rainstorms in the afternoons and, quite frankly, I need a motor with a little more *****. So has anyone found a replacement that has a similar mount but a more efficient motor? I'm looking around, but just wanted to see if anyone already knew of a motor.

not sure if you could use a later motor. It has variable itermitant and the 3 settings for constant. The fastest I'm surprised the wipers don't go flying off.
