Question about screen at end of hose for windshield washer
OK, it looks like I have my 924S in pretty good working order, and I'm getting desperate for things to fix . . .
The windshield washers were not working properly, and I finally got around to dealing with that. Basically, there was slime in the reservoir that had clogged up the little screens at the ends of the hoses that go down into the reservoir. In the process of cleaning them, I broke one.
I've got a few other minor parts to get, and I figured I'd get a new one of these little screen thingies. I went to the online Porsche parts catalog (a very nice resource at porsche.com) to look up the part number. As far as I can tell, the part number is 911-628-749-00, but it is labeled as a "T-piece." That makes no sense to me, and I wonder if that is the right part.
Can anyone clarify?
Better yet, does anyone have one of these things hanging around that you could send my way for a few bucks?

That's correct, it's the suction screen/foot valve. I'd buy a brand new one, if it's worn it will kill the whole system.
BTW you can download the PET catalog and FSM several places, including here: http://www.eucc.dk/
