Anyone looking for a barn find 944S project car?
Just wondering if anyone is looking for a project 944S barn find? A guy that I know and bought another 944 off of a few years ago has a 944S sitting in his workshop wasting away. The car had the usual 944S cam chain tensioner failure and has been sitting for at least a decade. The car is extremely nice, its been a while since I have seen it in person but I think it had all the original red paint, just needed a good buffing. The black interior is in fantastic shape. It has not seen the sun for over half its life so it doesn't have the usual 944 sun damage. The original engine is still in the car and the head is off of it. I know he has all the parts to it and is also including a spare complete 944S engine that he bought with plans to install it. This car could really be awesome again if someone was willing to put a little elbow grease into it, and being an S model makes it a bit more interesting. I would love to pick it up myself but have too many projects already. I hate seeing this car go to waste and its seriously way to nice to become a parts car so I am just trying to save a 944.
