Default Looking for paintjob ideas

I'm going to have my 1983 944 repainted the original white, and was just looking for something a little different to set it apart.

Anyone have any pics of nice two-tone paint jobs, stripes, etc?

Maybe do the rocker panels black or do a small line across the bottom, along the front lip too

IMHO, leave it origional, or depart greatly..

Nice

Martini Theme

Subtle stripes

I have also pondered matte finish with gloss stripes, or the inverse, gloss finish with matte stripes in same body color.. both look subtle enough but stunning!

In black

In silver

I kinda liked the 944 with the zebra stripes, but it's hard to see the car's curves which is IMO one of the great features

There is a guy in the UK who produces high quality replica full car decals for 944 Martini and Gulf. I always thought they would look cool if I ever had a white 944.

Cannot upload pics from iPhone but search eBay.co.uk item number 120501823865

Paint it factory pearl white , it's a rare colour that was available only for the '86 turbo ,very few of them around.

I'd definitely go with the martini racing theme. Very very cool. Or you can always just paint a german flag on your sunroof!

I'm interested in this thread because I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I could go with the factory Diamond Blue Metallic which I guess isn't common, but if I change it it'll probably be pearl white with some sort of accent in either blue or orange. I love the white/blue used on Trans Ams like this one http://media.motortopia.com/files/14...Run_Photo1.jpg.

Any idea of where to put the accents on a 944? Adding black to my Monte was easy and my F150 came from the factory in a blue/white two-tone, but I'm having one helluva time trying to figure out where color accents would be best placed on the 944.

FWIW, the Martini stripes have been done, check the 944fest photo thread..

Ramius665 has a white martini themed 86 951, it won Hosts Choice award this year! VERY nice BTW..

In fact, you can see it right here I

My turbo will be returning in its own 1 of 2 livery.. (the other one was white)
