OUCH... 108..

Glad to hear everyone is making it home safe and in one piece (even though it seems everyone took home their cars with them...)

BTW Brian, if I get around to body work on the 44 I had there, I may be getting in touch... hell I may be getting in touch anyway!

John,
That was slick. Maybe I'll paint the next one green. Seems everyone has red.

Another Fest has come and gone. It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

What a great excuse for a party!

Here are some of the better shots from our weekend. It started at our farm on Thursday early in the afternoon. Getting the cars loaded up and then getting setup at Nelson Thursday PM...

Just attended my first 944 Fest. What a great time. Special thanks to everyone who put this together and another thank you to Dan the Dragon Man for renting us the Dragon and instructing my son and I.

Dan P on his big wheel.

Red cars getting worked on.

Oh - and we figured we'd bring Penelope to the Fest so we could get all sorts of help getting her fixed. We got some of it right. Thanks for those that did help, Doug, Brian and Joka!

We confirmed what we thought was wrong and have ordered the parts. Need to drop the head at my engine shop this week and get it refurbished. Found a lot of other parts that needed replacement ("while we were in there").

Thanks also to A-Part-Above (John) - I'll take only what we need from the "loaner" head and return.

One secret he did not know was adding a bit more ground clearance especially in the front

Who would have known - you could go to a brew pub and not find a single beer that was worth a crap? We did. The first pic is outside the pub. An old mill in Garrettsville. Don't drink the beer....

And finally the setting sun on Friday.

A) this picture is full of win! Sad part is BOTH cars have different motors (LS1 and 944 Turbo) but both are down for same problem (alternator)!!!!

B) Seeing the affore mentioned picture, I just realized I didnt turn wrenches on any NON-red car this past weekend! Go figure!

But all the tow vehicles made it home. My red one broke also, but me only had 2 jacks.

Brian, thanks again for the help/tools/regulator! That pic is awesome, other than I'd like to have been recognized for "smallest tailpipe" at Fest.....and that includes the 49cc quad!
