Default FS: 1987 944 Turbo

Asking $10,500. I would take $10,000 from a Rennlist member.

When I was in college, I worked at Roger Jobs Porsche Audi VW in Bellingham WA. I sold this car new for over $36,000 (in 1987!) and drove to Portland to pick this car up for the customer. I loved it. When I delivered the car to her, I said if she ever sold it, I'd buy. Happily I bought it from her in 1994 and have had it ever since.

There weren't a lot of options on the cars.. this car does not have ABS or the limited slip differential, however it does have the factory alarm.

I have the car in Redmond Washington. Truthfully I'm hoping that someone who appreciates these cars will want to buy and continue taking great care of her which is why I joined Rennlist. I am open to feedback about my car, price and pictures.

Here is a link to where there is more info and pictures:

Cheers.

Honest seller great looking car! GLWS. Also, that roof dimple could be popped out by a body shop pretty cheaply. Not a big deal.

Very nice car, wish I was in a position to purchase it. Anybody want a 71 Road Runner?

Clean, for such high miles or not! Great example, I hope you get what you are asking. You should have no problem.

I ended up buying a new car and need to sell the 951. I've lowered the price on Autotrader to 9,500. I would be willing to entertain offers if anyone is seriously interested.

I am still interested in selling my 87 944 Turbo. I believe I have one of the nicer all original cars available.

I just has my mechanic fix the A/C. There was a Schader valve missing and all the cooling juice leaked out. That's replaced and she blows ice cold now.

I also wanted him to look at the the car because the temp gauge was going to the top white line before the fan came on. Turns out it needed a new switch so the fan would come on sooner. Now it comes on and keeps the car's coolant temp at the bottom white line as it should be.

I have updated the car's web page at:
http://www.ccfcproducts.com/944/1987_944_turbo.html

I filmed and uploaded a video of my running through the car's mechanicals as well as running it full throttle through a couple gears. See it here:

Beautiful car. I wonder if it would make a cross country trek back to Massachusetts!!

I'm about 2 months shy of having the money for it (XMAS bonus).

GLWS in the meantime.

If my 911 was sold, I would be serious thinking about buying your car.

It would definitely make the drive cross country. I've had a couple people come look at her wanting to build a track car, but they've both said it was too nice.

Maybe I'll still have her when your bonus rolls around; maybe its destiny!

Keep us updated. If the money comes through, to hell with it, I'm going to Washington!

Likewise here, waiting on the bonus to cash in and the bike to sell. :/
