Default Parting out 89 na

I have an 89 NA with auto tranny that I'm parting out. I bought it for the motor a couple of months back and it's time for it to go. I'm pulling the motor this weekend. So if anybody wants anything let me know. It's a bone stock street car so no fancy bits. A/C, cruise control, power everything, sunroof, etc.

Hood, body panels and motor are either not worth anything or gone. Interior is dark blue. Some stuff is in great shape, some stuff not so much. I'm not looking to get rich here, so ask me for what you're looking for and I'll give you a good quote. Otherwise its all going to the crusher.

I'm in Newark Delaware, and you're welcome to come by and pickup stuff. I will ship too, but shipping a torque tube to Calif might be a bit much...

Are you or have you got a 2.7 liter head to sell? I am not sure of the reason you bought the engine hence the question, maybe you just needed the short motor? There is a couple of heads out there but the sellers must be living in a pre GFC world, one seller on Ebay said that because he saw one for sale at $1300 he thought $950 was fair! Sorry but I am still chuckling. If you have a reasonably priced head depending on the casting number I may be a buyer.

pettybird: carpet is dark blue. what parts are you interested in?

kombatruck: relays are $5 each plus shipping

slate blue: And I bought the car for the motor because I race an 89 in 944 Cup with a 2.7L, so the head isn't for sale. And $950 isn't that unreasonable. I've seen them go for $1K. I know how hard 2.7's are to find

I need a driver's door window regulator. I'd prefer the whole assembly including the electric motor. Sending you a PM.

dillon410021: warning buzzer, assuming I can find it $10 plus shipping

pkt1213: no, it does have A/C. You'll have to be a bit more specific on what you want, since I'm not familiar with the A/C stuff, I immediately rip that stuff off for racecars.

Chris, does the car have the 4 aluminum heat shields on the firewall in fair condition? no extra paint or burns or oil coaked on them? I have my motor out, and my aluming firewall shields are shot.

It's the strut, threaded on both ends that pushes the compressor out and keeps the belt tension on it. That's the big part. I also need the bolt that attaches the compressor to the block and the two that go at the ends of the struts but that's aren't nessicary. New bolts from Porsche are about $10 for everything.
