Elephant Racing caster blocks

Here's the Mookeh plate fix that puts the factory 944 planar/thrust bearing between the steel spacer and spring hat.....
I did this on a set of EARLY struts. On LATE struts, Not 100% sure if the strut rod diameter after the thrust bearing seat is long enough for the mod. You could adjust the 10mm dimension to 5mm if your spring hats don't hit the camber plate....

Since the camber plates were a hand me down at the right price, I did a quick search on here about the company. Aparently they were around in the early 2000s and the guy that ran it, Danno, was nice fellow but a bad business man and went bankrupt shortly after.
I'm starting to think it isn't an issue with the camber plate as much as it is with the spring perches. I'm going to order a set of the racer's edge spring perches wich are specifically designed to be used with recessed camber plates on 944's. I guess these are the "bugs" that need to be worked out when using a new brand of coilovers, luckily I'm in good graces with the guys at GAZ and they've been listening to my suggestions.

Update: I ordered the 968 "sport" hardness caster blocks from Elephant, and they are nothing different than stock 968 caster blocks. I called them up and they define "Sport" hardness as being harder than the regular 944 block...
Lesson learned, and and FYI for the rest of you they are NOT an upgrade from the 968 block. It doesn't matter much to me because I'm replacing the old style anyway.
