need to sell, 85.5 w/ 968 eng & 6spd
This is just kind of a feeler thread for now, I really don't want to part out the car, hell i dont really want to sell it either but thats not an option, i'm curious if there is interest in it as a whole. I started this project a while ago and just don't have the kind of time I needed to do what i want with it.
the car is a maroon 85.5 944 with a swapped 968 engine and 6spd transmission. 968 rear suspension installed along with front sway bar. It runs great and is a blast to drive. The car also has a Momo Nero steering wheel and 968 gauges. Tires are 2years old less than 10k on them battery is a year old, and the ground cables have been replaced w Robby's excellent set up. I'm sure there is more i'm forgetting but this is just to see if there is any interest in it and if it would be worth what i need to get out of it.
* also i have a walk-in closet filled w/ random 968 bits and a 944 fiberglass hatch from GTRacing, its the fiero looking one.

The car is located in MD, its parked on Andrews AFB at work. Does not have Limited slip. the interior is complete, it is tan and black the dash has cracks and the driver seat needs to be re-upholstered. The paint is a faded on the hood and sun roof. Power windows and sun roof work great. it has new master and slave clutch cylinders, SS clutch and brake lines, all new vac lines, new intake gasket, cruise control was removed - still have the module, p/s leaks was going to swap to a r/p.
As far as price i'm not certain the value. I'd know id like to get around 6k for it to cover the cost of the swap or what i still owe on it at least. The mileage on the drivetrain is about 93k.
I have some photos of the car, will take more when i get back to DC after memorial day. The exterior ones i got today, didnt have the key with me, the other ones are various stages of the build.

Currently the speedo is not hooked up, the sensor from lyndsey racing is in need of a mounting bracket. i also have a 968 harness pin set i picked up during the group buy to refurb the harness, and am willing to throw in 968 door handles and mirrors. also have the 968 door cards if there is interest.
Anyone in the area is more than welcome to come check out the car. I really hate to see it go, especially after hanging that clutch pedal but ill be moving soon and i still have to pay off the new car
