Dash Pad Removal?
#2
You don't. The whole dash has to come out. The instructions on Clarks Garage are great. The tricky part are the plastic trim pieces as some of them clip in place with brittle old plastic clips. Once you know how to take them out the rest is pretty easy. It took me about two hours to pull the dash, and another three (I was being careful) to put it back in.
The upper and lower are one piece.
The process.

Really when ever... I'm just painting it black with that vinyl paint..I have a burgundy interior and I have several parts that are faded and instead of buying used ones I decided to paint them black for now until I decided to buy vinyl and recover them. I'm painting them in the same scheme as the two tone linen and black interiors, so basically the top half of the car interior will be black and the lower will still be burgundy. I've already done my a-pillars, top door card, and the front trim piece that holds the visors.
I'm surprised the vinyl spray paint/dye works great and is really durable so it should hold up a while. Also most the parts I'm spraying don't get any or little traffic so it should stay.
