944 Turbo layout
I am trying to find some pictures and diagrams of where the turbo is mounted, or a cut away of a turbo engine.
Most importantly I need to know where/how the turbo manifold is connect to the block.
I am planning a Turbo build and want to do some more research before i follow through.
Thank you in advance for your help guys.

I want one of those ^^^^ Turbo Motors. Wow.
Red, yellow, blonde, blue, brunette, whatever - those all look great.
Ok, I really want them ALL.

I was blown away by the help and support you guys have given already in just my first 24 hours on the forum.
I had spent countless hours on Google searching endlessly for these exact type of images of the back of the engine and where the turbo is "looped" back into the exhaust, etc. to understand more of how exactly the 951 turbo engine is laid out so I have a better understanding of whats there and how it works.
I previously owned a BMW E36 325is that I was in the midst of turboing and had an unfortunate set back and lost the car.I have always wanted a 951 and soon hope to have my very own soon. And once I have my hands on it, I won't be able to take them off of it!
Thanks guys and keep them coming

question one- so why does the exhaust manifold have what looks similar to a flex pipe?
question two- where is the wastegate? the turbo doesn't appear to be internally wastegated either?

if you look at the photo of the 951 drive train and suspension, you can easily see the wastegate
