Default Anyone have any used or beat up 968 caster blocks for sale ?

As title describes, looking for a set of really used 968 caster blocks? I say really used because I don't care if the rubber is in crappy shape, because i intend ro press out the rubber insert and replace with delron.

These are 95 each on paragon, if someone has a set of beat up ones for cheap, would make for a good prototype, otherwise I'll improvise and make my own or modify the original early style caster blocks by welding in a piece of pipe to mimic the 968 design.

On that note, can one of you guys who has a 968 style caster block on your bench, can you please measure the OD(outer diamater) of the pipe piece and the length of the pipe piece ? would be most appreciated.

Photos of my concoction to come, when I actually get something built...

Nevermind everyone. Tonight I ended up making my own 968 style caster blocks out of some early style ones. Then i spun some delron inserts to finish off the job. 3 hrs start to finish. disregard the tacky red, i spray bomb'd em but should have prepp'd a little better. u get the idea.

a little cleanup tomorrow and they'll be on the car.
