The bolt is availble on Pelican.

http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...C%20Each%20%20

The procedure:
http://www.benms.com/944camseals.html

The reality......
You may find the shaft key has damaged the camshaft when the bolt came loose--common.

Replacement of the camshaft may be necessary if the keyway is bad.

Good bolt = new bolt?

IIRC it is a TTY one time use item... I know of at least one local owner who has had the bolt re-used, shear, and take out the head!
