by no means. by parting so many cars, guys like Lart make keeping cars running indefinitely fairly routine.

i would love to have a 3.0 Turbo engine in a 968 or 951.

but, i'd stay around 10 pounds of boost and under 325 hp at the flywheel.

for my current car i'm in the middle of a 190 mph project that will involve the installation of an LS3.

rennlist keeps crashing on my computer, but i've been known to overuse the edit feature.

the continuing saga....

1. source spare transmission and parts for 200 mph in top gear. DONE

2. source ALL swap parts. DONE.

3. stock LS3 crate. pending

4. head porting at Texas Speed and Performance, + LS7 cam, improved valvetrain parts and Fast intake.

5. install 500 hp engine and make a good exhaust, tuning.

when finished, the car should be capable of 190~193 mph.

there are a lot of guys who offer solid tech advise on the forums. they're geniuses if you ask me.

one of my favorites is XS Chop. he's currently working on a bulletproof 'huge' brake package for low $$$$.

I am in fact real, I do in fact own a 944, and I do in fact intend to turbo it.

These above facts have been verified by several other members of the RL community, which is what brought me here, as one of them asked me to join up...

So here's a shout out to my dawgs!

I can prove I am real.. can you prove I'm not?

How about I post a picture of my hardware already on hand for the impending turbo swap?

I supose I could do a pin hole camera, develop the film in my garage, and scan the pictures in on my scanner, but that seems kind of the long way to go..

and you're still gonna go TURBO after these kind posts ? sell your turbo parts.

there's about 15 968 motors available out there. a far better choice for the $$$$ for any N/A car.

Cool car. I like the colour. Is that a fitted cover? I'm looking for one. Maybe I can trade you a hood badge if you come to the fest!

Thanks, already have a new hood badge for her.. and no, it's just a generic one size fits all cover, keeps the pollen and leaves off while I accumulate parts for the turbo setup!
