It was nice to see how we lined up from a roll, I took him at the strip because he was spinning very badly.

OP, nice job pulling on the Mustang. Nothings better than hearing the V8 rumble getting further and further behind you...

Nice pull! I agree about the hearing the V8 rumble getting further and further away I know some guys with mustangs and they get pretty cocky sometimes. Nice to put them in their place every once in awhile! Don't get me wrong though, i do respect a good mustang. Nice job!

did the mustang miss a gear or spin the whole time? a mustang at that psi and those mods should be way over 400hp, getting closer to the 5-bills club
i guess the real question is, how close are you to maxxing those 55# injectors

I admittedly don't know much about mustangs, but I would predict a properly built 14psi 3v motor to be near 500 rwhp.
Even before he missed a shift, he should have yanked the 944 from the start. Much as I love the 951 and despise rustangs, this just doesn't make sense. Course anything can happen on the streets though I guess.

PWR is always the winning factor. The lighter you are the more forgiving the slow/missed shifts. Swap to an LS engine and walk all over the Rustangs and even most Fibervettes all day from standing starts as well as these roll-ons.
