I had airline and hotel reserved for this and when I watched the weather forecast and the weather I ran into in Chicago, I just pulled the plug on this one. Wasn't worth getting there and getting rained out. Maybe next year. So I guess I'll go to Tokyo. Wife is there and I'll get a couple of extra days with her.

it's been between frigging 86 and 91 here every day for the past month and a half.
and the month before that was low 80's every day. this is so boring....
once back in Mass it'll be 4 more months, and a lot more of this hot weather crap.
don't know if i can take having
1 fall month (october)
2 cold fall/early winter months (november/december)
1 fall month (january in florida).
and then straight back to summer every year.

Just got back home.
Had a good time with my son but it was crappy Swap weather !
Bought a key from the key-man...some stickers, shirts and some toy cars with my son.
Did not see much for 944's.
Took a few good pics including one of what I assume is Jeff's mint-green 968 cab (really nice car !) and a few others.
Took my son to the Antique Auto Musem...that was fun !
Oh well...pray for sun next year !
PS - saw the Rennlist reserved parking (after I'd parked)....did not see too many 944's there though.

You saw my Linen Metallic 944 over by the mint green 968 - I got suckered into parking there because the guy said mine looked nice. Wish I hadn't, though - then I at least would have parked near the few 944's that were there. Couldn't believe how hard it was raining as I was driving up...

Sorry I missed the meet. I planned to fly from Ft. Myers and had to cancel. Weather in Chicago sucked as well. I almost didn't get in there either. So, I'm now in Tokyo, my second planned stop and continuing to Bangkok. No swap meet there but plenty more other diversions to make up for it. Maybe next year. Don't see many (any) 944's over here.
