I have had quite a few good kills as of lately. Buy her and keep the legacy going on

I will have another 951 one day. I have got quite a few interested buyers in the car without the mods so that may be a incentive...

I have had similar thoughts. A couple of things have held me back... First, my NA 944 gets 30 mpg on the road, consistently, never less than 23 in town. Your 951 doesn't have that kind of economy, and despite what you hear, neither do Vettes. In flat Nebraska going a steady 65, maybe you'll get high 20's, but in town you shouldn't count on any more than 19 - 20 (if you keep your foot out of it). I don't know that I want to lock in those kind of numbers with gas approaching $4.

The trade off is the C5's seem to be ultra-reliable, they are great performers, comfortable, and most of the depreciation has taken place. You'll likely spend more on wax than parts for the next few years.

hell if I sold my 951 every time I wanted a change I would have lasted maybe 3 months.
