Default new belts

I changed my AC and power steering pump belts yesterday 85.5 na 944 with 118000 miles, not hard to do, how long before they need to be changed again?
BTY I save the old belts in the car, just in case one blows I can fix it on the road to get home (I could drive the car without PS or AC but I would not want to).

Well the AC belt runs your Alternator... So that would be an driving issue! Ha ha

*Keeping the old belts in the trunk is very smart* As for the time on the new belts,,,, how about until they Break or Show Significant wear. Atleast 60k Miles probably.

good idea on keeping them as spares...id say after 2 TB changes you should replace them.
