Default New wheels

I just bought a set of cup wheels off a 97 993 that are chrome. 17 x 7 55 and 17 x 9 55. Got them cheap becuase one back wheel the chrome is bad, thin abd copper is showing through around the lug nuts. I can paint the centers or have the one rechromed. What is the cost of rechorming a wheel? And on paint gunmeatle may look good with a red S3 OK a S2.
RE11's will go on 225-45 front and 255-40 rear

Stripping chrome off aluminum can be a pain.

AFAIK you can't "add" chrome, you need to get back to the base metal and start over. To be honest I would be leery of having that done, it isn't good for the metal (either removing or chroming). It's already been done once, not completely successfully apparently.

OK then it looks like painting the centers. You put some bit in the chorme and paint it, I have done it before. Or I can buy 1 wheel.
