Unhappy rear bumper damage

I had someone bump into my car(952) and now rear bumper is misaligned. It is crooked. left side is pushed against rear quarter panel and right side has a quarter inch gap. Is this something that is easily fixed or a major pain.
Any info or how to links would be appreciated
cheers

do you have the euro-style rear bumper with a single rubber strip on it, or the beast, all-aluminum north-america spec rear bumper? the big bumper has shocks on it, the euro bumper has brackets

if you have the RoW bumper, your brackets are made of tinfoil. It might be a little of a pain to take them off and hammer them straight again, but if there's no other body damage, consider yourself lucky!

If it's the 400 pound one like we have here, I'd probably just get another set of bumper shocks.

Its ROW euro style bumper. The bumper itself is undamaged from this incedent.

As mentioned. Those ones are just simple metal brackets. Pull off the Bumper and see if you can repair it. If it didn't damage the Bumper itself it couldn't have been a heavy/hard hit.
