Default Chasing a RUF

This past weekend my PCA had an event @ New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ....at the end of the days DE events....there was a paced open run...below is a photo of me (Zermatt 951) chasing a 1986 930RUF down the main straight.....about 4 or 5 seconds into boost @ close to 100MPH.

While I love my 951 and will never sell it....the sound that the 930RUF made when it went on full boost.......was something like.....to quote BBC's Top Gear...."God Having Some Freaky Sex".

If you haven't had the chance to run your car on the track....I highly recommend it, as you get to see the true potential and will really appreciate what an awesome machine the 951 really is !!!!!!!!!!!

That is a very nice picture. "Chasing" a RUF (or a lowly 930) is about all you can do, especially on the open road.

I'll pass on "chasing" a 930 on the open road. I hate driving backwards into a bunch of trees.

Great pic!!! I will never sell my 951 either, but I will own a 911 some day. Since my '86 turbo is also Zermatt Silver, I like to pretend that is me on the track!

Love the 930S rear fenders and the stock 930 fronts. Awesome combo.
