Im thinking a pair of recaro speeds since the price isn't tooooo bad but just wanted to check here if anyone has any recaro/sparcos second hand that they're trying to get rid of! Thanks!

Ive got two very nice black Sparco EVOs Id consider parting with. Driver is on sparco sliders and the passenger is fixed on a custom bracket. Both have attachment points underneath for sub-belts...these would bolt right into any 944/968/964/993. I think they are dated 05 and 06 so fine for DE.

Those are fixed back, aren't they? i was thinking reclining seats since this is also a weekend cruiser but i haven't had any experience with fixed back seats. Is yours just a track car?

Yup, fixed back. Pics added above. It was dual purpose but I hardly ever tracked it - planning on making it more street friendly and going back to sport seats. I miss the leather

no. i had to make sure my finances were all in line and then decide a budget. i'm not sure which direction i want to go.

you can probably answer one question. these are a direct bolt in on a late car. will they fit my 924s without modification? i hear you tried going the other way

well interestingly enough ive heard a few different stories on that. i was told that the aftermarket sparco, recaro etc. only have 4 holes but with room to drill for more, and others say you use just 4 and thats it... but to answer your question, the holes are big enough for an 8mm bolt while yours uses 6mm. im sure you could use a washer to make it work but then you run into safety issues and the fact that the bolt would then be raised up slightly and you might run the risk of interfering with the rails... don't ask...

or it may not be a problem. haha.
