So far though the best mod has been the trans anti sway brace. Prior to that, axles were expendable every pass.
As it sits I've made over 100 passes with this trans and have found some solutions to axles along the way.
The goal is to launch 1.6 second sixty foots regularly.

Someone with better Internet skills than I could link you direct to 95obe's thread, he used a bar with spherical rod ends.
I just welded a bar to the bolt on tow hook on the passenger side and connected it to the rear center bolt on the transaxle. Crude but has worked well. I'm going to do a better setup using poly bushings to cut down on the road noise over the winter. I'll most likely use a similar setup to Bruce but do 2 bars to also cut down on twist.

Your absoultley right about the 6cyl over the 4cyl the 2jz is a great option as well as the rb26 as they are both 6cyl.
As far as the trans debate, if someone could direct us in th right path for a good replacement trans that would be awsome I'm sure there are other very strong trans. If I remember right there was a company that built a inverted version of the 911 g50 for kit cars. If we could get enough info and figure out a shift system for them would these work let's brainstorm abit and see what we can do. I have Certified mechanical engineers employed. I'm sure if we could figure it out ,they would have no problem in the design aspect. As our rb26 kit uses an Nissan custom clutch and replaces the Porsche bellhousing. Let's see if we can figure out a better trans swap

Can a rb26 motor fit in 1960s 911?
As for buying a motor outside the states. Rb/sr ect These motors are purchasable in the united states. As for The EPA comment these engines have been approved by the EPA as the r32 r33 are importable. The rb series engines give these cars an amazing power band. Our rb26 944 550whp kit "which is the primary single turbo swap kit" has dominated agianst every ls1 944 it has been put up agianst we have performed 12 rb26 swaps so far and 6 of them were converting from the ls. The 944 gear box works wonders with the rb series engine especially with a well built motor. The sr isn't as impressive but still responds well. These series of engines have plenty of part availability in the states. Once agian it just comes down to personal choice. We are not turning 944's in to supras skylines or rx7s. If u look at it that way, people have been turning 944s in to corvettes for the last 20years, We are simply replacing the factory expensive to modify dog of a motor these cars came with. Why bother with a Nissan engine? I just checked out E-Bay and found you can get later model Porsche H6 motors down around 4k. I'm not sure what's involved in putting one of them in your chassis, but I'm sure it's been done. This way you'd get all the benefits of a later engine design and it wouldn't be a Frankenstein mess.

There is a guy who actually swapped a RB into his 944 and he is currently driving it around enjoying the fruits of his labor. If you search Porzilla on YouTube it should come up. I think he was in Thailand or something don’t remember off the top of my head.

hi I purchased a 1960s Porsche 911 shell it was being set up as a race car and has already been altered to fit a LS motor I am curious if I would be able to fit an Rb 26 motor instead, has anyone done it? I don’t want to swap with LS I’d rather go stock or put Rb26 motor or a newer Porsche motor any ideas definitely new to the Porsche swap idea.

Phillipines I think. He used an RB25DET Neo. Looks great but I wonder how the car actually is to drive.
