I just want to make sure the color "chestnut brown" is the same as the brown in the 944s.
For your car you need (Brown has the 356 C or Targa embroided) chest nut will be kind of redish brown color.Exemple of what a brown look like in my ex 944.

Also, the original mat has a flap for the dead pedal... which I have folded under because it would block the clutch pedal. Anyone know if these will have a dead pedal flap?

What I've done with the dead pedal flap was to cut it off & got the shoemaker to sew it back so the carpet edge won't come apart.I misread your original post ,if your car carpet is dark brown you better go with a litgher color with your your matts but not (Chest Nut),will it be possible to have an interior pic of your car since it will help chosing a matt color that will match better. Please no negative comments about the (red) pedals color since it was change to a color matching the interior as seen in the last pic.

Found a picture of the floormats on the pelican website... not sure how close it matches mine. damn you colorblindness. Seems close enough though... maybe a little lighter. my factory mats have faded a lot and the backing has gone bad. So these will definitely be a improvement, even if it's not a 100% match. Nice PORSCHE lettering embroidered in and nicely priced at $110.

edit - some pictures of my interior. white balance isn't the greatest.. camera phone.

What do you think?

If you phone our Customer Service line at 1-888-280-7799, we can mail you a set of samples that we think will match your car. That way, there will be no disconnects between what you think you ordered, and what actually shows up in the mail. We offer this FREE service, but surprisingly, most people don't take advantage of it. Custom floor mats are non-returnable once they are cut and manufactured.

Thanks,

Wayne

This applies to the Porsche Tequipment mats? Cause I emailed your sales department and told me Porsche didn't give photos or samples of their products.

Sorry, yes. The samples are only for the custom-made mats. The Porsche mats are returnable, but sometimes we have to charge a restocking fee on returns if they are a weird color, or a slow-moving item.
