Default Porsche Floormats from Pelican: color question

Looking for new floormats. Still have the originals, but the color has faded and the backing on the driver side isn't really too great anymore... always gotta pull it so it doesn't block the gas pedal.

Pelican sells OEM mats, however they don't have any pictures. My car has a brown interior and the only brown mat set they have is called "chestnut brown" Can anyone confirm that this is the right color? Carpet is actually like a really dark brown.... I'm pretty colorblind though so I just want to be sure. Also, the original mat has a flap for the dead pedal... which I have folded under because it would block the clutch pedal. Anyone know if these will have a dead pedal flap?

Price for all 4 is 108, supposedly has Porsche (logo or letters) embroidered in it too? Seems like a steal, given the color is the same.

I believe that pelicanparts sells Lloyd mats. If so they do have samples that they will mail out to you. Just give them a call and have them hook you up with some.

On a different note. We need to set up a group buy on floor mats. You could count me in for a set.

A complete set of Lloyd mats + embroidery will be like $180.

I'd be in for a set, too. I've been waiting for the right used set to come along but it hasn't happened. What kind of deal could we get do you think?

I need black. Porsche crest logo would be awesome.

There's a set for sale on the first page of the general 944/24/68 Forum.

Emailed pelican's sales dept, they replied:
"Thank you for your e-mail, Unfortunately Porsche does not have photos to send of the floor mats. They do not offer floor mat samples either, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please advise if you may need further assistance, Thank you for your time."

How many shades of brown did our interiors come in?

If it is factory, you would think that they could look it up by your vin #. We can for Dodge, Jeep, Kia, Subaru, and Suzuki. Pelican parts is not a dealer though, you may have to call/email a dealer to see if they can for you.

I just received a set of front Lloyd mats, embroidered with black Porsche letters in Linen color. I'm not sure about the brown color, but the linen was extremely close.

The two mats were about 130. Will really help this car stand out much more.

Just for clarification, the mats in question are Genuine Porsche, not Lloyd.

I'm selling my black ones at the moment. They are in the for sale forum. I need to pick up some burgundy ones and was going to order some from Pelicans but it's so expensive. I'm in for a group buy.

How can you tell which is which?

bonus12: I have some black ones if your interested. They don't have the logo but all four of them say PORSCHE across them.

Not sure how you'd tell which is which if they were side by side, but I'm planning to order from pelican and they have the 4pc set, embroidered with PORSCHE (I think, might be the logo), for $108, which is definitely cheaper than anything I've seen. I just want to make sure the color "chestnut brown" is the same as the brown in the 944s.

Hey thanks, I saw your thread and I am certainly interested in some Porsche mats with or without the logo. I must say that I am looking for a better bargain if I am going to be buying used. Maybe we could work a deal for just the fronts, but I doubt you want to split them up.

For 108? I went onto Pelican and did it through the Lloyd's thing and ended up with 200+! Was that just the super plush one I suppose?
