John and CyClone! have room for one more? I'm in Fairfax Station, and need to get my belts, waterpump, and a few seals done. Got a 87 Turbo... I'll post some pictures up once I get around to it, but planning to do this towards the end of February. Not really the best at wrenching, but if you have patience I'd love to learn (or I can just pay if that works :P).

I do most of my organizing of GTGs and such on reutterwerk (http://reutterwerk.com/forums/index.php)... just pop in over there and keep an eye out for me, I have had a lister local to you (speedfreak81) down to my house a few times for this and that.. I am in Stafford, but have been spotted in Fairfax from time to time, and have even ventured as far north as MD a time or 2...

By the end of feb may or may not have garage open, if not we can try to watch for a break in the weather and get it knocked out for you.. belts rollers pump, and such doesn't take terribly long to do.. and the nice bit on the late setup is the auto tensioner makes it easy as pie!

Shoot me a PM with your contact info, and I will try to remember you to keep you in the loop!

I thought the V1 splitter was no longer available.

It's not produced anymore but if you wait long enough, someone will sell theirs probably. (Many bought multiple copies on the last group buy) If anyone feels like taking on the project, CPR is selling the rights, molds, and cad files to anyone willing to buy them. I think the lot price was ~$15,000.

Slight?

Mine has been through hell (ripped off twice, attacked by 4x4 post on the highway, raccoon and at least 1 squirrel) and it only has a slight crack on the batwing area.

I've never liked the V1...... I'm sure I'm a minority though. I like the ABS idea, but I just don't like the looks/design of it.

I like my GT Racing FG one...it was free so I can't complain. I like the looks of the AIR one better though. Haven't had a problem with the FG one, but it would suck to repair if you hit something so ABS is nice there.

ya I think the AIR splitter is my favorite as far as looks... but having a chance to get the last production of the ABS V1 i couldn't resist... One day it's going to be rare like the urethane lip for the 944 N/A
