Thumbs up Most Amazing Front Bumper Update

I spoke with Albert today, what a difficult guy to deal with. I had to call back about 3 times and of course, it's long distance and my dime. Anyway, here is the current cost:
Front bumper: $405
Chin Spoiler: $180
Driving light: $270 (pair)
Turn Signals: $80 (pair)

Shipping to the U.S. will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $135-180.

I'm looking for a shipping alternative for a less expensive price. He's going to give me the group price in a couple of days (minimum of 10 people and I have 9 solid commitments including myself) If you are interested, please send me a personal email and post the list. If you only post the list, I won't have your address to keep you updated for a group buy. This is who I have listed right now that is ready to buy: Ramon Morales [ram_one@msn.com],
Mudd, Jeremy [JeremyM@airborne.net],
IIS Web Design/Hosting [sales@iisventura.com], Tsw427@aol.com,
Peter L [peterl944@attbi.com],
Chris Moon [Helicoil@gmx.net],
Adkins Michael P SrA 886 CS/SCBNM [Michael.Adkins@sembach.af.mil]
and me (of course) I'm doing the best I can guys, so please let me know. He's in business but he kinda struck me as an arrogant bastard at the same time. Please email if your ready or interested. That's all for now.

Talk to you later

James

I've found that the U.S. Postal Service has the best pricing on international shipping, but slow...

He just e-mailed me as well.
His new site is <a href="http://albertweb.de" target="_blank">http://albertweb.de</a>

The direct link to the parts are is:

<a href="http://albertweb.de/Porsche/Karosserie/944bodykit.htm" target="_blank">http://albertweb.de/Porsche/Karosserie/944bodykit.htm</a>

Prices in DM (from their site) and US Dollars (my exchange calculations)

Kit parts: Our price:

2 Frontflipper: 298, - DM (138.092 US Dollar)

Nose apron: 680, - DM (315.110 US Dollar)

tail apron: 690, - DM (319.744 US Dollar)

final pipe: 198, - DM (91.75270 US Dollar)

long range headlights of: Piece of 235, - DM (108.898 US Dollar)

turn signals in front completely: Piece of 58, - DM (26.87705 US Dollar)

tail lamps: Piece 210, DM (97.31347 US Dollar)

wheel set 8.5 and 9.5 x 18 Cup1 1,950, - DM (903.625 US Dollar)

wheel set completely with tire price inquire!

2 Cup - mirror 698, - DM (323.451 US Dollar)
==============================

It looks like he is charging the "Americans" a lot more and will go down to his normal price with the group buy.

Maybe my US Dollar amounts are wrong? If not then the prices listed above are considerable higher than what he has posted on his site <a href="http://albertweb.de/Porsche/Karosserie/944bodykit.htm" target="_blank">http://albertweb.de/Porsche/Karosserie/944bodykit.htm</a>

In reply to Jordan's prices:

You posted Deutchmarks which were phased out in February by the EURO. The exchange rate your using is off considerably. Albert sent you the same price list he had posted on his website which hasn't been updated since early this year.

I had to hound him down to get a firm price on each piece in EURO's. Just to keep all of you informed. The prices I listed were for an indidual purchase from him. I'm still waiting for the group buy price for 10 units. I won't hold my breath for too long in dealing with him.

Very reseptfully to all:

So your saying they don't use duetchmarks anymore?

His website is brand new and updated since this post started.

My calculations went from DM to EURO to US Dollars.

Jordan,
I'm not saying you cant still use DM's but if you attempt to pay with a credit card (for protection) then the Credit Card company will not calculate the amount the same as you have done. They are going to calculate Euro's to Dollars. Official transactions will all be done in Euro's. I just want to clarify. His website was updated but the 944 page and prices are exactly the same as they were on the previous site. Just for your info.

James
