It could possibly be oil cooler seals. As others have said not as common on Turbos however it is very possible. Mine did the same thing you are describing just not as severe. I caught mine immediatly shut it down and towed it to a shop. I thought for sure it was a hg and it was cooler seals. Just an FYI.

not sure if mentioned, but if coolant and oil did mix, you need to concern yourself with potential rod bering wear. imho, you need to pull the bottom of the motor and check for issues.
