Default Fuel Injector Seals

Hey guys I'm having an issue with my fuel injector seals... I've replaced all the injectors with new seals...

I put some oil on the o-rings to lubricate them so they'll go in easier and for some reason I'm leaking out of two of the seals.

I have the rail all the way down and in injectors pushed in a far as I can without a leak at the rail.

Any idea's as to why? I'm going to try again tomorrow but I just don't understand why they didn't seal.

Are the little steel clips that hold injectors to rail in place and in the right slit in injector? Also where did you get the seals are they correct for these Bosch type injectors? And finally even with oil they can get cut when not pushed in carefull enough?

Ya the clips for the injectors are in the right place, the seals I got from advance auto (which i've used before without problems). I guess I'm just gonna have to pull the rail and reinstall the seals.

Yes you have to have the fuel rail out of car and carefully oil and insert injectors into holes while tuning and putting light pressure on them. This way they do nbot bind, get cut or come off top of injector. Its tricky but when it goes in right you can see it and feel it, then when you put clips on in right spot and insert other oiled seal into intake it all bolts up pretty easy with the four small 10mm bolts.

i have found that dielectric grease works well on these seals to install. its better than oil IMHO.
